McDonald's network has developed a self-service model, whereby customers can choose, order, pay and get meal in a different way rather than traditional one (at the checkout or MacAuto).
The first terminals were installed in 2009 at the restaurant located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since then, in Europe, Easy Order terminals were installed in 18 restaurants in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria and France.
In Russia, in some restaurants of the network special «Easy order self service» devices began to appear, thanks to which the service is going to be even faster.
Easy Order self-service model is based on a simple process, during which customers can browse through a graphical menu using an interactive touchscreen interface of a terminal installed in the restaurant. After confirmation of the payment the order goes immediately to the kitchen where it is being cooked in accordance to specific requirements.
At the reception point the client provides a numbered receipt and takes his prepared order away.
ACEX Group Multimodal department in Solnechnogorsk arrranged customs clearance of 15 special devices which were delivered to Russia on March 4, 2014.
Natalia Nikiforova, the Sales and Customer service Executive of multimodal department, tells: “The cargo was delivered in time, just within 5 days. Literally we got its customs clearance right in the car and sent it for offloading to Moscow. Let's wait for forthcoming of these new gadgets in Moscow restaurants”.
