In 2010 JSC Insurance Company “NOVA” collected insurance premiums to a total value of 71.4 million UAH. 45 % payments received on motor insurance (CASCO insurance – 30.8 million UAH), 22% (16 million UAH) – personal insurance (including voluntary medical insurance. Amount of concluded insurance contracts was 102 290.
According to the development strategy “NOVA” expanded its position outside of Kiev: sales centers of insurance services opened in Donetsk and Lutsk; also in 2010 the Kiev Sales Direction opened their doors to the clients. The growth of payments of the regional system amounted to 157% in comparison with 2009.
Company “NOVA” developed confidently a travel insurance market where payments’ growth was 43% and mandatory insurance of civil liability of drivers - payments’ growth was 6.7%).
Payments on voluntary and mandatory types of insurance in 2010 were 34.3 million UAH. The main part of payments realized on motor insurance (17.2 million UAH), personal insurance (6.8 million UAH) and mandatory insurance (6.5 million UAH). Payments capacity on mandatory insurance of civil liability of drivers increased by 1.5 times. In general the level of payments for the year amounted to 48%.
